Record Setting Poetry Reading

Dig into Reading! Join us for a fun-filled evening as we kick-off our Summer Reading Clubs with an attempt to set a record for the most people reading a single poem. Participants will be reading the poem, “A Worm in My Pocket” by Jodee Samano.

Festivities will begin at 5:45 pm with Radio Disney providing music, dancing and contests, with the reading to take place at 6:45pm. Afterwards, the fun continues inside the Library with crafts, a story time for Tadpole Readers, food and registration for the Summer Reading Clubs. These activities will go along with the state’s summer reading club theme of "Dig into Reading @ your Library."

Music in the Garden

Join us in the Reading Garden to hear wonderful music in a beautiful setting. These concerts are suitable for grownups and children. For the July 8th performance, Ms. Hale will use music and picture books to make literary connections. No registration required. Please call the Library at 371-8622 in case of inclement weather to see if the concert has been postponed or cancelled.
